Daily Radio Report: 9/22/13   Leave a comment

I picked up KA9JAC/KB9YVT on the 20 meter county hunter net (14.336 MHz), through Rock, WI. I think I probably have this county, but I was glad to get on the air. I’m still listening, and maybe I’ll pull a few more QSOs out before going to work.

This month is shaping up to be one of my best months on VHF, but maybe my worst month on HF. I still need to update DX4Win, but I have finally weeded through my QSL cards, and sent all of those away. I even sent one to G3UAS, who deserves his QSL cards far faster than I send them!

I will hopefully be working on my Yaesu box this week, and will have a box for my car back on the air. I know I will take a road trip at Christmas, and I will post the details on this site in the near future.

In the mean time, the radio box repair and updating DX4Win will dominate my ham radio time.
