Amateur Radio This Week #53   Leave a comment

This week, I made quite a few more contacts on 20 meters.  We drove through Georgia and South Carolina, and I was able to operate from 10 new counties.

This evening, I went to my dad’s amateur radio station and watched him snag a few JT65 QSOs.  He’s also on the lookout for Alaska on 160 meter CW, but we didn’t hear any such stations this evening.

Tomorrow, I leave from Maryland, and then Ohio.  I’m not sure, but I may pick up a few more counties sometime in Ohio.  I doubt they’ll be many new ones between now and then, but there are a few other mitigating factors, so I don’t know what the next few days will bring.

Thank you for reading my post.
