Ten Meters!

We drove from Amarillo, TX to Tulsa, OK today, and I operated ten meters off and on along the way.

I temporarily installed a Radio Shack HTX-10 radio in my car. I’ll show some photos of my temporary set up later this week.

With my temporary set up, I managed to work Cuba and W1AW/4 in FL. I was able to hear Ecuador, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Puerto Rico and dozens of stateside stations. I also copied several Morse code stations and several beacon stations as well.

Ten meters is alive and well!!!
